Robert Schultz’s “Fall Composition with Magnolia Seeds” will be included in the Taubman Museum of Art’s “Homeward Bound” exhibition, its 2021 juried triennial of works by Virginia artists. Juror Nandini Makrandi, Chief Curator of the Hunter Museum of Art in Chattanooga, TN, selected Schultz’s archival inkjet print of a magnolia seed pod, dried flowers, and weed stalks against a black background. The image was made by scanning the items with the scanner’s lid removed and the room darkened.

Homeward Bound 2021 is scheduled for exhibition at the Taubman Museum of Art, Roanoke, VA November 6, 2021 – March 6, 2022.
